A significant meeting took place within the India Bloc on Saturday, hosted by Tejashwi Yadav, to strategize for the Bihar Assembly elections. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and the Lok Janshakti Party (Pashupati Paras) are set to join the India Bloc in the upcoming Bihar elections. Both parties will be given seats within the alliance. Congress state president Rajesh Ram described the meeting as positive, with a seat-sharing agreement largely reached. Most seat allocations are being discussed and the final decision will come soon. The addition of new parties means each party needs to make sacrifices. The seat formula will be finalized soon. The meeting concluded with a commitment to contest the elections with full strength.
