The draft voter list for Bihar, which will be used for the 2025 elections, has been released. The draft has been shared with all 38 district election officers and political parties. Individuals whose names are not currently on the list have the opportunity to ensure their inclusion. The last date for updating the list and submitting claims for name additions or deletions is September 1st. The Election Commission has made it clear that all eligible voters must verify their names and submit Form-6 if needed. The process allows for voters to raise objections or submit claims. Verification will be carried out by electoral registration officers. After the verification process, the final voter list will be published and used for the Bihar Assembly elections in 2025. The list is accessible via an online portal. The Election Commission is undertaking efforts to reach every potential voter. The draft voter list has been made available after the completion of the first phase of the Special Intensive Revision 2025. All concerned parties are encouraged to take part. Voters can submit claims between August 1st and September 1st.
