Fuel Rates Unchanged Across Major Indian Cities as Crude Oil Falls

Even as Brent fell to $87.73 a barrel and WTI to $84.82, India’s petrol and diesel rates have remained static. The last price revision was on May 25, and the numbers hold for all listed cities. In Delhi, petrol is ₹102.12/litre; diesel ₹95.20/litre. Mumbai’s pump reads ₹111.21 for petrol and ₹97.83 for diesel. Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and other key locations report similar unchanged figures.

Industry analysts explain that the retail price formula incorporates multiple variables – international crude, rupee‑dollar rates, central and state taxes, and logistics costs – which can delay any pass‑through of lower crude prices to the consumer.
