To ease travel during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festivities, Indian Railways has announced substantial plans for Bihar. The railway will operate 12,000 special trains over a two-month period. Moreover, travelers will be entitled to a 20% discount on return tickets. This discount will be applicable for those returning between November 17th and December 1st, who travelled between October 13th and 26th.
Among the new services are the Amrit Bharat Express and Buddha Circuit trains. The Amrit Bharat Express will connect Gaya, Saharsa, and Muzaffarpur to various destinations. Buddha Circuit trains are set to link Vaishali, Hajipur, and other key locations. In addition to these, a Vande Bharat train will be introduced on the Purna-Patna route. These developments are expected to greatly assist the significant number of people traveling to and from Bihar during this festive season.
