Rajkumar Rai, a prominent leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), was murdered in Patna on Wednesday night. The shooting took place in lane number seventeen in front of the Rajendra Nagar Terminal around 10 PM. The police are actively investigating the case, including reviewing CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators. Rai was known both for his political involvement and his activities in the land market. After being shot, Rai managed to enter a nearby shop; however, he died while being taken to the hospital. The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assassination.
