A civil engineer, Govind Sharma, was attacked by chain snatchers in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. While traveling on his motorcycle, he was confronted by three robbers who attempted to steal his gold chain. Govind fought back valiantly. During the struggle, the robbers shot him in the back and fled the scene. Unbelievably, Govind was unaware he’d been shot until he had traveled two kilometers, alerted by passersby. The police were notified and an investigation commenced. The engineer is currently recovering after undergoing surgery. Authorities are reviewing evidence and pursuing leads to capture the criminals.
