The Bihar government has taken a significant step to promote sports in the state. The cabinet has approved the handover of the newly constructed international cricket stadium in Rajgir to the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA).
The BCA will be responsible for the stadium’s upkeep and for organizing domestic and international cricket matches. This decision allows for the staging of national and international cricket events in Rajgir. Additionally, the cabinet approved the acquisition of land in Punpun for the construction of sports infrastructure.
