Bihar is set to host international cricket matches in Rajgir, following the state cabinet’s approval to hand over the newly built international cricket stadium to the Bihar Cricket Association. This will allow the stadium to host national and international matches.
The cabinet has also approved the acquisition of land for sports infrastructure in Patna and established a policy for the direct appointment of outstanding players based on their performance and achievements, with the aim of recruiting five male and five female players annually who are residents of Bihar.
