A convoy carrying RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was involved in an accident on Saturday morning near Goraul in Vaishali district, Bihar. A speeding truck collided with vehicles within the convoy while the former Deputy Chief Minister was traveling back to Patna. The accident occurred on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway when the convoy stopped for a short break. Three security personnel were injured in the crash and received immediate medical attention. The truck driver was taken into custody. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. The incident has led to discussions regarding the safety of political figures on Bihar’s roads. Yadav, after ensuring the injured were cared for, has confirmed his safety and resumed his schedule.
