A road being constructed in Bihar has drawn attention for its unusual features. Part of the Patna to Gaya road, the Jehanabad segment near the DM office, is valued at ₹100 crore. The construction is notable because it includes trees standing directly in the middle of the road.
This design has become a viral topic on social media. Local residents express concern, highlighting that these trees pose a danger, especially at night, due to inadequate street lighting. Several two-wheelers have already crashed into these trees.
The Road Construction Department has been unable to obtain the necessary permits from the Forest Department to remove the trees. The department is still awaiting a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Forest Department and the road was constructed navigating around the trees.
