Nitish Kumar emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining a strong legal framework, highlighting the constant increase in the number of police personnel since 2006. The government is aiming to fill more than 229,000 positions by the end of the year, with the objective of curbing crime, increasing the police presence across rural and urban areas and providing better security for the public.
