The murder of a man in the Bhiwadi area of Alwar, Rajasthan, has been resolved by the police. The victim’s wife, Bobby Rai, and her brother-in-law, Anuj Chaudhary, have been apprehended in connection with the crime. The case reveals a complicated scenario surrounding the murder.
The body of 65-year-old Guddu Rai was found in a locked room within a house in the Santra Colony of Bhiwadi. Neighbors reported the incident to the police after noticing a foul odor. When the police entered the house, they discovered Guddu’s body. The landlord and his nephew mentioned that Guddu and his wife, Bobby, had been residing there as tenants and that they often argued. This information initiated a police inquiry.
The sister-in-law and brother-in-law confessed their involvement in the crime. Guddu, a resident of Bhagalpur, Bihar, came under suspicion after an examination of CCTV footage and tips from informants. The police questioned Bobby Rai, aged 40, along with her brother-in-law, Anuj Chaudhary, and they admitted their culpability.
The pair provided a different account to the police. They stated that the deceased had been sick for a considerable amount of time. The financial strain caused by medical treatments, rent, and household expenses was a source of contention between the husband and wife. The suspects claimed this was the reason for the murder.
However, the investigation indicated that Guddu’s body bore marks of injury. Anuj Chaudhary, the husband of Bobby’s uncle’s daughter, also lived in the same house. It also emerged that they were engaged in an illicit relationship. After Guddu became aware of the affair, he confronted Bobby, which led to persistent conflicts. Subsequently, Bobby and Anuj schemed to kill Guddu.
