A potentially dangerous incident occurred in Vaishali, Bihar, when a truck collided with the convoy of Tejashwi Yadav, the former Deputy Chief Minister. The accident happened near Goraul on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway early Saturday morning. Yadav’s convoy had stopped for a break when the truck crashed into the security vehicles. Fortunately, Yadav was not in the affected vehicles and escaped injury. Three security personnel were injured and received medical care. The local police have detained the truck driver and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Yadav is reported to be safe and has returned to his regular schedule.
