The Bihar government, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has approved and allocated funds for a youth internship scheme as part of the ‘7 Nischay-2’ initiative. This scheme, ‘Chief Minister-Promotion of Readiness, Awareness and Technical Insights for Guiding Youth Advancement’, intends to equip young people with skills, increase their employability, and promote leadership development. The scheme will provide internships to one lakh youths between 2025-2026 and 2030-2031. Stipends of ₹4,000, ₹5,000, and ₹6,000 will be provided to 12th pass, ITI/diploma holders, and graduates/postgraduates, respectively. At the same time, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has criticized the Election Commission of India regarding the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
