Flights operated by IndiGo and SpiceJet faced technical challenges on Thursday, leading to several incidents. An Agartala-bound IndiGo flight was obliged to return to Kolkata shortly after departure due to a mid-air technical malfunction. Separately, a Leh-bound IndiGo flight had to make an emergency landing at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport because of a technical snag. In response to these issues, IndiGo has ensured passengers that the affected aircraft are undergoing maintenance checks, and a replacement aircraft has been arranged to lessen the impact on travel schedules. In addition, a Hyderabad-Tirupati SpiceJet flight also returned shortly after departure after experiencing a technical issue.
