The Assam police have apprehended a man and his wife for the alleged murder of a 71-year-old woman in Guwahati. The incident took place in the Kharghuli Hills area of the city. Authorities have confirmed the arrest of the two suspects.
Ratul Das, the caretaker of the deceased, lived with his wife in a room next door. Police reports indicate that the couple confessed to the stabbing of the elderly woman.
