Security forces have arrested Mohammad Yusuf Katari in connection with the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The arrest occurred five months after the attack. Katari, a resident of Kulgam, Kashmir, is accused of providing logistical support to the terrorists. The support allegedly included providing directions, shelter and weapons. Following his arrest, Yusuf has been sent to a 14-day police custody. Authorities also destroyed a terrorist hideout in the Brinal forest area of Kulgam district. During the operation, essential supplies, including a gas cylinder and other materials used by the terrorists, were recovered. A wide search operation is underway in the surrounding areas.
