Amid protests, CM declares relocation of IIT-Goa campus

In the face of accelerating protests by villagers in opposition to the proposed IIT-Goa campus at Melaulim village in North Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday introduced the relocation of the mission elsewhere within the coastal state. “This government listens to the voice of the people. Therefore, our government has decided to shift the project from Sattari to another location in Goa.
