Air India’s operations are back to normal after a significant technical glitch impacted its check-in systems, causing widespread flight delays across several airports on Tuesday. The disruption, attributed to a third-party system failure, affected multiple airlines for several hours.
The airline confirmed the successful resolution of the issue on its official X handle, stating that all systems are now functioning as expected. “The third-party system has been fully restored, and check-in at all airports is functioning normally. All our flights are operating as per schedule. We thank our passengers for their understanding,” the statement read.
Prior to the resolution, Air India had been actively communicating the situation to passengers, advising them to monitor their flight status and allow extra time at the airport. The quick restoration of the system helped mitigate further disruptions and ensured a smoother travel experience moving forward.
