The Indian Air Force will celebrate its 92nd anniversary on October 8th with a day of events at the Hindon Air Force Station. The day will include a grand parade, flypasts, displays and other programs. Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh will lead the parade. Guests will include the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) and former Air Force chiefs. The MI-171 (V) helicopter will conduct a flag flypast. There will also be a static display of aircraft. Additionally, an Investiture Ceremony will be held where Presidential awards will be presented. The Air Warrior Drill Team will put on a special performance. The drill team of 18 air warriors from the Subroto team will amaze the audience with rifle drills. Under the Heritage Flight, Harvard and Hindustan trainer aircraft will perform stunts in the sky. Also, 18 new innovations will be on display in the Innovation Cell.
