Rahul Gandhi has launched an attack on the Election Commission following reports that unnamed parties in Gujarat received 4300 crore rupees in donations. Gandhi, through a post on X, highlighted that these parties, despite receiving substantial funds, have had a minimal presence in elections. He raised questions about the origins, management, and destination of these funds and questioned whether the Election Commission will launch an investigation. Gandhi’s criticism comes amidst his ongoing voter rights campaign. The parties in question had fielded candidates in various elections and collectively received around 54,069 votes. This controversy follows his previous accusations against the Election Commission for allegedly supporting the BJP.
