During the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh made a statement in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, ie on Thursday, on the deadlock with China in East Ladakh. Rajnath Singh assured the countrymen in Rajya Sabha that we will neither let the head of the country bow nor do we want to bow down to anyone. He said that the boundary question with China is still unresolved, if there is tension on the LAC, the relationship cannot be amicable. If there is tension on the border, bilateral relations will be affected. Please tell that Rajnath Singh has already given a statement on the situation in China in the Lok Sabha.

In the Rajya Sabha on the issue of border dispute with China, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that on June 15, Colonel Santosh Babu along with his 19 brave soldiers made the supreme sacrifice in the Galvan Valley with the aim of preserving India’s integrity. Our PM himself went to Ladakh to boost the morale of the army. Rajnath Singh said that there were many agreements on the border to restore peace between the two countries, but China does not accept formal borders. The House is aware that the India-China boundary question is still unresolved. China does not accept the customary and traditional alignment of the boundaries of India and China. This boundary line is based on well-established geographical principles.

Rajnath Singh said that China is under unauthorized occupation of approximately 38,000 square km of land in Ladakh. In addition, under a so-called Boundary Agreement in 1963, Pakistan illegally handed over PoK’s 5,180 square km of Indian land to China. He further said that there is no Commonly Delineated Line of Control (LAC) in the border area of Indo-China so far and both have different perceptions regarding LAC. Therefore, there are many agreements and protocols between the two countries to maintain peace and restore.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that in the 1993 and 1996 agreements there is a reference that the LAAC will keep both the countries with the least number of its forces. The agreement also states that the LAC will be strictly reset until the boundary issue is fully resolved. He further said that we have made China aware by diplomatic and military means that such activities are an attempt to change the status quo one way. It has also been made clear that this effort is not acceptable to us under any circumstances.

In the Rajya Sabha, Rajnath Singh said that I want to assure the country that we will not let the head of the country bow down at any cost, nor do we want to bow the head of anyone. He said that our army inflicted heavy losses on China in Galvan. There is a difference between China’s words and actions. Rajnath Singh said that I request the House that our brave soldiers should be praised for their bravery and bravery. Our brave soldiers are keeping all the countrymen safe by their untiring efforts in extremely difficult circumstances.

He said that in the last several decades, China has introduced a large-scale infrastructure activity, which has increased their deployment capacity in the border area. In response to this, our government has also increased the budget for border infrastructure development, which has almost doubled already. I want to assure the countrymen that all our Armed Forces soldiers have great enthusiasm and courage, and our soldiers are determined to face any crisis. The message of unity and complete trust, given from this House, will reverberate throughout the country and all over the world, and our youth, who are standing steadfast with eye to eye with Chinese forces, will have a new morale, energy and enthusiasm.
