Madhai Yaani Kootam, the debut directorial work of Vikram Sugumaran, is now available for streaming on Zee5. The movie, starring Kathir and Vela Ramamoorthy, originally premiered in theaters on December 25, 2013, and became a sleeper hit. The cast also includes Kalaiyarasan, V. Jayaprakash, Vee Jenish, Kaali Venkat, and P. Virumandi. The film was produced by G. V. Prakash Kumar, N. P. K. S. Logu, and Go. Venkatesh under the banner of GV Prakash Kumar Productions. Vikram Sugumaran, known for Raavan Kootam, passed away on June 2, 2025, at 47 years old.
