‘The Traitors,’ the new reality show hosted by Karan Johar on Prime Video, is quickly escalating in intensity with its complex blend of suspense, drama, and plot twists. The recent episodes of June 19 left viewers stunned by the surprising elimination of four contestants, all of whom were later found to be innocent, turning the game on its head.
The first twist came when Mukesh Chhabra was absent from breakfast. Host Karan Johar announced he had been ‘murdered’ by traitors Purab Jha and Elnaaz Norouzi. The decision came down to choosing between Mukesh and Ashish Vidyarthi, and Mukesh was eliminated.
During the roundtable discussion, the contestants were divided in their suspicions, considering Raftaar or Maheep Kapoor as possible traitors. Raftaar’s confrontational behavior made him a target, but another group sought to eliminate Maheep. Maheep Kapoor was voted out.
Next, Ashish Vidyarthi found himself under scrutiny. Although Apoorva Mukhija, Sufi Motiwala, and Raftaar were also discussed, Ashish received the highest number of votes and was ousted.
The subsequent roundtable saw a major focus on Raftaar. Many believed him to be a traitor, rather than Apoorva Mukhija or Sufi Motiwala. After a heated debate, Raftaar was eliminated.
In a major twist, it was revealed that Mukesh Chhabra, Maheep Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Raftaar were all innocent. The true traitors, Purab Jha and Elnaaz Norouzi, have successfully maintained their cover from the beginning.
Prior innocent eliminations included Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, and Karan Kundrra. Also, one of the traitors, Raj Kundra, was earlier eliminated.
The remaining contestants include Anshula Kapoor, Elnaaz Norouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvee Gaurr, Apoorva Mukhija, Jasmine Bhasin, Nikita Luther, Purab Jha, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Sufi Motiwala.
