‘Strange World’: Dennis Quaid, Lucy Liu, Gabrielle Union and Jaboukie Young-White joins voice solid

LOS ANGELES: Actors Dennis Quaid, Lucy Liu, Gabrielle Union and Jaboukie Young-White have boarded the voice solid of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ movie “Strange World”, additionally starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
According to Variety, “Big Hero 6” helmer Don Hall has co-directed the movie with Qui Nguyen, who has additionally penned the script.
The story follows three generations of the Clade household, legendary explorers, who arrive at a blinding land stuffed with mysterious phenomena — shoals of flying fish, strolling rock columns, and octopus-looking monsters.
“Strange World” could have granddad Jaeger Clade voiced by Quaid. Young-White voices the grandson, Ethan. Union is Meridian, who’s married to their son Searcher, performed by Gyllenhaal. Liu voices Callisto Mal, head of Avalonia, the magical setting of the movie.
The upcoming journey film is scheduled to be launched on November 23.
