‘Tiger vs. Pathaan’, the action film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, may be delayed while Yash Raj Films (YRF) reconsiders the creative direction. Though earlier reports suggested the project was on hold, YRF is reportedly focused on reworking the film.
Aditya Chopra, the head of YRF, is re-evaluating the future of the studio’s spy universe. The goal is to innovate storytelling and presentations. This means a strategic change for upcoming projects. The objective is to avoid repetitive storytelling.
The YRF Spy Universe includes Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), ‘War’ (2019), and ‘Pathaan’ (2023), where Shah Rukh Khan made his debut. ‘Tiger 3,’ ‘War 2’, and the upcoming ‘Alpha’, are also part of the universe.
Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Sikandar,’ and Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in ‘King’.
