‘Tiger vs. Pathaan,’ the crossover film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, is reportedly facing delays as Yash Raj Films (YRF) focuses on a creative revamp. Despite earlier suggestions that the project was postponed, the studio is now reworking its creative direction.
Sources say that Aditya Chopra believes the Spy Universe films need a fresh approach to storytelling and presentation. The studio is reevaluating its plans to ensure that upcoming films, like ‘Tiger vs. Pathaan,’ follow a new creative path. The goal is to avoid repetition and infuse innovative storytelling styles.
The YRF Spy Universe includes films such as ‘Ek Tha Tiger,’ ‘Tiger Zinda Hai,’ ‘War,’ and ‘Pathaan,’ which marked Shah Rukh Khan’s entry as RAW agent Pathaan. The franchise is expanding with ‘Tiger 3,’ ‘War 2,’ and the upcoming ‘Alpha,’ featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.
Salman Khan’s most recent appearance was in ‘Sikandar,’ and Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in ‘King.’
