“Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1” is set to release soon, and the anticipation is palpable. The film is creating significant buzz. Following the success of the first film, Indian audiences are eagerly awaiting the prequel. Rishab Shetty’s film has received two important updates: the film has been passed by the censor board, and advance bookings for the Hindi version are now open.
Directed by the talented Rishab Shetty, the film is ready for theatrical release. The censor board (CBFC) has approved the film with only minor adjustments. Scenes with action or violence were left untouched, and no dialogue was altered.
The only modification was the removal of an objectionable hand gesture at the 45th minute. Furthermore, mandatory anti-drug warnings were added wherever drug use is depicted. Following these changes, the film was granted a U/A 16+ certificate on September 22nd, with a runtime of 2 hours, 48 minutes, and 53 seconds.
Advance bookings have started in Karnataka, with shows beginning at 6:30 AM on October 2nd. Hindi-speaking audiences can now book their seats. Advance bookings in the Hindi market began on the evening of September 26th. The success of the film in the Hindi belt will be apparent when the booking figures are released.
With the launch of bookings for “Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1,” excitement for a box office clash is growing. The film will compete with Varun Dhawan’s “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.” The success of each film will depend on the number of shows and screens allocated by theaters.
