Ramya Krishnan, globally recognized for her portrayal of Sivagami Devi in the two parts of S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ films, has a rich filmography, which includes a significant presence in Hindi cinema. Prior to the success of ‘Baahubali’, she played the leading role in several movies. Ramya is primarily a Tamil actress but has also worked in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films.
Born in Chennai on September 15, 1970, Ramya started her acting career with the Tamil film ‘Vellai Manasu’ (1985). Her Malayalam debut was ‘Neeram Pularumbol’ (1986), and her Telugu debut was ‘Bhalay Mitrulu’ (1986).
