The new political thriller “The Bengal Files,” directed by Vivek Agnihotri, is experiencing difficulties in West Bengal, with multiple multiplex chains refusing to screen the film. In response to this, the film’s producer, Pallavi Joshi, has written a letter to the President of India, seeking intervention to ensure the film’s release. The producer claims that the multiplex chains’ actions are the result of political pressure and threats from the ruling party. Joshi is requesting the President to uphold her constitutional rights and facilitate the film’s screening in West Bengal.
