The CBFC has granted approval for the release of Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ which is scheduled for theatrical release on June 20, 2025. The film, a remake of the Spanish movie ‘Champions’ (2018), sees Aamir Khan take on the role of a basketball coach and focuses on specially-abled children. Despite initial discussions regarding potential cuts suggested by the CBFC, the issue has now been resolved, allowing for the film’s release. The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh.
