Mumbai transformed with the colors of devotion and celebration for Ganesh Chaturthi. Many film stars were seen bringing Bappa to their homes last night. This morning, they marked the festival with deep devotion and happiness, receiving the Lord’s blessings.
Celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Suniel Shetty, Rupali Ganguly, and Urmila Matondkar shared their Ganesh Chaturthi messages on Instagram. Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared an old video and expressed her sadness at missing the yearly tradition of bringing Bappa home.
Sonu Sood, Sharvari, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ananya Panday, Varun Konidela, Soha Ali Khan Pataudi, Kunal Khemu with his daughter Inaaya Naumi Khemu, and Bharti Singh with her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa were seen welcoming Bappa.
Other attendees at the grand event included Arjun Bijlani, Ankita Lokhande, Alisha Panwar, Hansika Motwani, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, Yuvika Chaudhary and dancer-choreographer Dhanashree Verma.
Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi together, dismissing rumors of a split. The pair wore similar traditional outfits and handed out sweets to the media outside their house. When asked about the rumors, Sunita responded with a smile, saying, “Are you here for the controversy or to see Ganpati?” They continued interacting with smiles and shared sweets.
