Dhanush and Nagarjuna’s movie ‘Kuberaa’ is proving to be a box office success, with strong momentum on its second day of release. Early estimates suggest that the film earned Rs 16 crore on Saturday, surpassing its opening day figures of Rs 14.75 crore. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in lead roles.
The second-day collections show the film’s pan-Indian appeal with Telugu contributing Rs 10 crore, Tamil Rs 4.5 crore, Hindi Rs 0.23 crore, and Kannada Rs 0.02 crore. The total collection for the first two days is Rs 30.75 crore. Director Sekhar Kammula revealed he was initially hesitant to narrate the story to Dhanush. Jim Sarbh learned Telugu for his role in the movie. ‘Kuberaa’ is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, with co-production by Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth.
