A bizarre twist of fate has unfolded on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17,’ with a three-year-old advertisement bearing a striking resemblance to a recent contestant’s experience. The ad, created by writer Neeraj Singh, foresaw the ‘overconfident’ exit of 10-year-old Ishit Bhatt, a situation Singh himself described as ‘full deja vu’ upon seeing the young player on the famous hot seat.
Singh took to his Instagram to share the KBC ad, highlighting how the fictional scenario he penned for a 20-year-old character three years ago was strikingly replicated by Ishit Bhatt. The post has since gone viral, amassing thousands of views and eliciting numerous reactions. Internet users were quick to comment on the uncanny prediction, with many expressing humorous disbelief and posing questions about the writer’s foresight. Some suggested the ad was a subtle warning that wasn’t heeded by contestants.
Ishit Bhatt, a bright young student from Gujarat, became a focal point of KBC 17’s junior contestant episodes due to his highly confident demeanor. From his initial interaction with host Amitabh Bachchan, Bhatt conveyed a strong sense of self-assurance, even stating he knew the rules without them being explained. He proceeded to answer initial questions with remarkable speed, often locking in his answers prematurely. While this strategy proved effective for the first few questions, his overconfidence led to a significant loss. On the fifth question, valued at Rs 25,000 and concerning the Ramayana, Bhatt provided an incorrect answer, resulting in the forfeiture of all his earned prize money.
