Jamie Lee Curtis bids adieu to ‘Halloween’ character Laurie Strode

LOS ANGELES: Hollywood veteran Jamie Lee Curtis has wrapped filming for “Halloween Ends”, which marks her last outing as Laurie Strode, the principle protagonist of the slasher franchise.

It was filmmaker John Carpenter’s 1981 slasher film ‘Halloween’ that launched Curtis in Hollywood.

The movie was an enormous blockbuster and spawned a profitable movie franchise, with Curtis headlining the follow-ups ‘Halloween II’ (1981), ‘Halloween H20: 20 Years Later’ (1998) and ‘Halloween: Resurrection’ (2002).

She returned to the franchise with 2018’s ‘Halloween’, which was a direct sequel to the 1981 unique.

After 2021’s “Halloween Kills”, the collection is ready to finish with “Halloween Ends”, scheduled to be launched later this 12 months.

On Tuesday, Curtis took to Instagram to share that she has completed taking pictures for “Halloween Ends”.

“A bittersweet END for me on the Halloween movies. Directed by David Gordon Green, “Halloween Ends” is scheduled to be launched in October 2022 by Universal Pictures.
