As Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’ continues its successful run at the box office, director Anurag Basu has addressed the comparisons between it and his upcoming project featuring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela. Basu acknowledged the success of ‘Saiyaara’, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, but clarified that his film, ‘Aashiqui 3’, differs significantly in its storyline. He mentioned that his film’s plot will not mirror certain key elements of ‘Saiyaara’. Basu also provided an update on the film’s production, stating that approximately 40% of the shooting has been completed. The next schedule is planned for August–September, with the delay attributed to Kartik Aaryan’s look continuity, which is linked to his other film commitments.
