‘Housefull 5’ is making its mark with both its box office success and the substantial investment behind it. Helmed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the entire film was shot on a cruise at an approximate cost of Rs 375 crore, making it the most expensive comedy in Indian cinematic history. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan star in lead roles, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, and a range of other actors and actresses in pivotal roles. The reported fees of the cast have garnered attention, with Akshay Kumar commanding a large salary. Riteish Deshmukh, among others, also received considerable compensation. The film’s box office performance has been impressive, nearing Rs 120 crore in the initial days of release. Additionally, the movie was involved in a controversy related to the alleged copying of a dance move in the song ‘Laal Pari’.
