Emma Thompson boards the forged of Netflix movie Matilda

British star Emma Thompson has boarded the forged of the display screen adaptation of Matilda.
Based on the favored musical stage play model of Roald Dahl’s basic story, the movie is a Netflix and Working Title challenge.
Thompson will play Miss Trunchbull, the merciless headmistress and antagonist of the piece, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The story follows the titular five-year-old lady, who makes use of her powers of telekinesis to beat bullies, together with her household and her college’s principal Miss Trunchbull, and defend her pals.
Child star Alisha Weir will essay the position of Matilda within the film, which can even function Captain Marvel actor Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey, the kindly instructor who encourages Matilda and her telekinetic presents.
Matthew Warchus, who directed the unique play, will return to helm the function adaptation.

Tony winner Dennis Kelly can also be coming again to pen the screenplay.
Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title will produce the challenge with Jon Finn, and Luke Kelly of The Roald Dahl Story Company and Netflix.
