The upcoming Hindi film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ has become the center of discussion after the CBFC’s decision to cut a kissing scene featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. The board reduced the scene’s length by 75 percent, prompting strong reactions. Mahesh Bhatt stated the censorship is a surprising move. He highlighted the natural expression of love and recalled the former struggles to include lengthy kisses in movies. Aamir Khan, famous for a long kissing scene with Karisma Kapoor in ‘Raja Hindustani,’ believes that such censorship is unwarranted and considers the expression of affection on screen a healthy representation. Former CBFC chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani said that his viewpoint regarding intimate scenes has shifted.
