On June 12, the day Jungkook completed his military service, he was the target of an attempted break-in at his home in Seoul. A Chinese woman in her thirties was arrested after attempting to enter his residence using the door code. Law enforcement confirmed that the woman had come to South Korea with the sole purpose of meeting Jungkook. The alarm system alerted the police. Upon questioning, the woman said she had come to see Jungkook following his military discharge. This incident occurred on the same day that Jungkook and Jimin were officially discharged, celebrated by fans and media at Yeoncheon Public Stadium. The emotional reunion included Jungkook and Jimin appearing in uniform and saluting the audience. This followed the releases of RM and V on June 10 and the earlier releases of Jin and J-Hope in 2024. Suga is scheduled to finish his service on June 21. With almost all the members done with their service, BTS is gearing up for a full-fledged comeback. Fans across the globe are eagerly awaiting new music, live concerts, and the group’s return to the spotlight. HYBE’s headquarters in Seoul displayed a message reading “WE ARE BACK”, signifying the beginning of the next chapter for BTS. Despite the unsettling event, the day was marked by hope and joy for ARMYs worldwide, as the seven members prepare for their highly-anticipated reunion.
