‘Bigg Boss’ is set to return with a new season, generating excitement among fans. The show’s makers have launched a promotional video, confirming superstar Salman Khan will host. The premiere date for ‘Bigg Boss 19’ has also been announced.
‘Bigg Boss 19’ will premiere on Colors TV and JioHotstar on August 24, 2025, at 10:30 PM.
The Colors TV Instagram page shared the promo, writing, “The game’s framework has been altered… This time, the housemates will be the rulers in Bigg Boss! Watch #BiggBoss19, from August 24th, at 10:30 PM, exclusively on #Colors and @jiohotstar.”
There’s been speculation on social media about which celebrities may participate in ‘Bigg Boss 19’. Names like Amaal Malik, Faisu Malik, Apoorva Mukhija, Dhanashree Verma, Rati Pandey, and Bhavika Sharma have been mentioned. Actress Khushi Dubey has confirmed she was approached for the show: “Yes, it is true, I have been approached for the show. Let’s see, talks are going on, nothing is confirmed as of now. Abhi bas baat chal rahi hai.”
The official list of participants remains unreleased.
While previous ‘Bigg Boss’ seasons have typically lasted three months, this season is anticipated to extend to five months. Reports suggest Salman Khan will host ‘Bigg Boss 19’ for the initial three months, potentially followed by Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor.
Karan Veer Mehra won ‘Bigg Boss 18’ and Vivian Dsena was the first runner-up. Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Esha Singh and Chum Darang were also finalists.
