‘Alice In Borderland Season 3’ will be available on Netflix starting September 25, 2025.
The cast features Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya in the lead roles, alongside Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, Katsuya Maiguma, Koji Ohkura, Risa Sudou, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu, Yugo Mikawa, Joey Iwanaga, Akana Ikeda, and Kento Kaku.
Kento Yamazaki, who plays Arisu, reflected on the season: “Since Arisu and Usagi are split into separate teams, I found it interesting to see the different atmospheres and character dynamics within each group. Over the seasons, the characters have become so beloved by fans, and I think that’s why the audience can really empathise with them during the life-or-death moments.”
Tao Tsuchiya, playing Usagi, emphasized the importance of understanding her character’s journey: “Everything Usagi has experienced in the past seasons is now part of her story, so whenever I needed to, I would go back and rewatch Seasons 1 and 2. With Season 3 featuring an original story, I felt it was important to approach this role with everything that’s happened so far in mind.” She also mentioned, “As the players become more desperate, everyone’s performances become more intense and dramatic. I think this game really captures the essence of Alice in Borderland — it’s about life and death, and about discovering how you truly want to live.”
Directed by Shinsuke Sato, the series is an adaptation of Haro Aso’s ‘Alice in Borderland’ manga, published by Shogakukan. The plot of Season 3 continues the story after the events of Season 2, with Arisu and Usagi starting a new life, married and oblivious to the events in the borderland. However, their peace is short-lived as the Joker card brings them back into the dangerous game.
