Actor James Michael Tyler who performed Gunther on ‘Friends’ passes away at 59

LOS ANGELES: Actor James Michael Tyler who performed espresso store supervisor Gunther on the hit sitcom “Friends” died Sunday at age 59, US media reported.

Tyler died at his dwelling in Los Angeles after battling prostate most cancers that he was first identified with in 2018, in response to a consultant.

“The world knew him as Gunther (the seventh ‘Friend’), from the hit series Friends, but Michael’s loved ones knew him as an actor, musician, cancer-awareness advocate, and loving husband,” consultant Toni Benson stated in an announcement to US media.
