FM Sitharaman, Janet Yellen ‘exchange notes’ on international economic system
1 min read Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday mentioned the worldwide financial outlook and exchanged notes on problems with mutual curiosity with US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. In a collection of tweets, the finance ministry stated each Sitharaman and Yellen agreed to work carefully by way of frequent financial and strategic collaboration in numerous multilateral fora, together with the G20.
“FM @nsitharaman and @USTreasury Secretary exchanged notes on economic issues of mutual interest and looked forward to meeting of #India-US Economic and Financial Partnership later this year,” the ministry tweeted.
During the dialogue, Yellen appreciated India’s contribution to the world’s vaccine efforts.
