Widows and dependents of defense personnel / paramilitary soldiers martyred in action and retirees, families applying for loans under this scheme include a husband, wife and children (who are unmarried) of the applicant and his family. Must meet the mandatory income criteria for this scheme and should belong to EWS (Economically Weaker Section), LIG ​​(Low Income Group), or BPL (Below Poverty Line) category.
