First Quarter Fiscal Receipts Reach 28.7% of FY Target, Up 11.5% YoY

The Union finance ministry released official figures on Wednesday showing that by the end of June 2026, total government receipts had risen to ₹10,49,243 crore. This accounts for 28.7% of the fiscal year's projected revenue and marks an 11.5% increase over the comparable quarter of the previous year. The government's total outlay for the same period was ₹13,57,076 crore, covering 25.4% of the annual budget estimate.
