Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh has been martyred following injuries sustained during Operation Sindoor, launched by the Indian Army after the April 22nd terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation targeted terrorist locations in Pakistan, provoking a response from Pakistan that included drone strikes. Sunil Kumar Singh was injured in these strikes and, after weeks of medical care, he passed away. The Army has honored his sacrifice, recognizing his bravery and dedication. Singh hailed from the Chausa block of Buxar district, Bihar. He was stationed in Rajouri during Operation Sindoor and was injured in a Pakistani attack. He received treatment in Udhampur. The operation resulted in the targeting of nine terrorist locations in PoK, leading to the death of over 100 terrorists. Following the operation, Pakistan pleaded for a ceasefire after India targeted 11 of its 13 airbases.
