The TVS Raider 125 has received updates for its 2025 iteration, highlighted by the introduction of several new features. TVS aims to strengthen the Raider 125’s position in the 125cc market, where it competes with the Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda CB125 Hornet, and Bajaj Pulsar N125. Information about the upgrades has emerged through a video shared on social media, ahead of an official announcement.
The key upgrade is the addition of a rear disc brake setup, incorporating single-channel Super Moto ABS. This makes the Raider 125 the first in its class to offer this feature, enhancing safety. The bike includes petal disc brakes and red brake calipers, with a protective cover to maintain optimal performance.
Further updates include wider tires: a 90-section tire at the front and a 110-section tire at the rear. A new red and white paint scheme has been introduced, while the design largely remains the same.
The 2025 Raider 125 retains its 124.8cc single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-cooled engine, producing 11.2hp of power and 11.2Nm of torque. The 5-speed gearbox is also carried over.
Other existing features, such as the LED headlight, LED taillight, and halogen turn indicators, are still present. These updates indicate a focus on improving safety and aesthetics without altering the core mechanical aspects.
