TVS is set to introduce a new scooter, possibly the TVS X, in the fiscal year 2026. This new model is expected to be an evolution of the current i-Qube, designed for global markets and slated for export. A recent patent filed in Indonesia provides an overview of the scooter’s design, sparking interest in its potential features.
The design of the scooter appears to be conventional. The patent images show a traditional headlight design, side-mounted grab rails, horizontal LED DRLs, and LED indicators, all reminiscent of the i-Qube. Other expected features include an under-seat battery, a tall windscreen, a small glovebox, and a charging port.
The patent also indicates that the front wheel is visually larger than the rear. A mid-mounted motor and a belt drive system are visible, which suggests that the scooter could be an electric vehicle (EV).
While TVS has not confirmed any details regarding the patent, the inclusion of a belt drive hints at the possibility of an EV variant. The scooter’s final specifications are yet to be disclosed, leaving room for either an ICE or EV model.
