Tesla is planning to expand its presence in India with the opening of its second showroom. Following the launch of its Mumbai showroom, the next location will be in Delhi. The company has started sending out invitations, with the opening expected to happen next week. The first experience center and charging station were launched in Mumbai about a month ago. The company is now preparing to broaden its services to Delhi.
Showroom Location in Delhi
According to Moneycontrol, Tesla, led by Elon Musk, has begun inviting guests to the opening of its second showroom in New Delhi, scheduled for August 11. The Tesla Experience Center will be in the Worldmark 3 building in Aerocity, close to the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
A YouTube content creator, Utsav Techie, recently shared photos of the under-construction Tesla Experience Center in New Delhi, showing a white interior and glass doors. However, the company has not made an official announcement regarding the opening date or the exact location of the new Tesla Experience Center in the city.
Tesla Cars in India: Model Y
The Model Y is available in the Indian market in two variants: RWD (60kWh/75kWh). The 60kWh variant offers a range of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge and is priced at 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The RWD (75kWh) variant can travel up to 622 kilometers on a full charge, with a price of 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the RWD Model Y are anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2025, and the long-range variant is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2025.
